Chuluunbaatar once worked at a carpet factory in Erdenet, but returned to the steppe around the 1990s after his parents passed away, picking up the herding life they'd left behind. Today he trains racehorses professionally, alongside making guunii sam, Airag, and milking cows with his wife Sarantuya. Their grown children live just 100 meters away, and the two households help each other out and visit constantly.
