My wife and I set up our camp near the Selenge River in 1996. For 30 years, we’ve moved with the seasons, managed our herds, and passed down our dairy recipes. The gers you are booking aren't tourist setups; they are real, fully equipped structures we just built for our son’s traditional Mongolian wedding. Hosting guests right now helps us prepare for the big event. You will eat exactly what our family eats: fresh Airag, thick Urum, and homemade Aaruul. If you want to see firsthand how nomads source their food, you can buy a sheep from our flock, and we’ll handle the traditional, zero-waste preparation onsite for an extra fee.
We built this camp in 1996. The gers you will sleep in are real, traditional structures we just prepared for our son's wedding.Explore the surrounding steppe on horseback, riding the same trails our family uses every day to check on the herds.
Join us for the morning or evening milking to see exactly where all of our camp’s food begins.
Watch how we turn raw morning milk into staple foods like Aaruul and Urum that can last for months.
The camp is 350 km from Ulaanbaatar.
You don't need a jeep to find us. We're easily reachable by a standard car right off the main paved road.

The ger had little more than beds and a fireplace, but it was very clean and the hosts were very kind.
